The Rajasthan Economic Association (REA) is a registered body under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act of 1958. The association is among one of the oldest academic bodies of the country and it has a glorious past of having a large number of eminent economists. The REA is dedicated to advancing the study, research, and dissemination of knowledge in the field of economics. It serves as an active platform for engaging in debates and discussions on both theoretical and practical economic issues. The REA has always aspired to highlight important and critical issues in national and international economies by organising conferences, seminars and workshops. Besides, lectures of very renowned names in economics are organized on theoretical issues as well as issues concerning critical applied aspects.

The association also publishes a biannual Journal “Rajasthan Economic Journal”. Since we have entered into golden jubilee year of the association (1968-2018) we desire every member’s sincere effort and support to raise the association to greater heights. While the REA has achieved much, there is always room for growth and improvement.
